About the Client
Vaiot is a company specializing in solutions within the fields of cryptocurrencies, AI, and civil law contracts. In 2024, prior to the launch of their new application, LegalTorch, the company faced significant technological challenges. The primary issues included manually created cloud infrastructure in Azure, a lack of CI/CD processes, application integration problems, and the need to comply with strict MiCA regulations. The project’s objective was to prepare the application for seamless operation and establish a foundation for future development.
Challenges
- Manual and Non-Transparent Infrastructure: The initial infrastructure was created manually, resulting in management challenges, a lack of transparency, and difficulties in meeting regulatory requirements.
- Issues Arising from Collaboration with a Previous DevOps Provider: The previous provider failed to set up environments according to best practices, necessitating complete reorganization.

How Did We Address the Challenges?
Azure Infrastructure Reorganization
- New Environments: We built separate subscriptions from scratch for "dev" and "prod" environments, which enhanced transparency and security.
- Consolidation in a Single Region: Services were centralized in the Sweden Central region, improving availability and ensuring regulatory compliance. The infrastructure in Terraform allows for easy modifications or expansions to additional regions.
- Automation with Terraform: We adopted an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach, streamlining infrastructure management and development, while eliminating the risk of errors caused by manual configurations.
Organizing the Environment After Another Provider
The infrastructure issues were the result of previous inefficiencies by another DevOps service provider. Our team conducted a thorough reorganization, rebuilding the environments from scratch with the appropriate processes and security measures, ensuring stability and regulatory compliance.
Implementation of GitHub Enterprise
- CI/CD Automation: With GitHub Actions, deployment time was reduced by 40%.
